San Antonio, Texas has a handful of different public transit methods including. Buses - The Metropolitan Transit Authority operates the city's bus lines. These buses operate weekdays only, with limited hours on Saturdays and no service on Sundays. There are 31 routes in total with 13 originating from downtown near the Church Street Station and 18 more originating from North Star Mall near Rigsby Avenue Northwest. Metro Vanpools - This program is cost-sharing van rides which are scheduled during business hours that can easily be scheduled for your particular work schedule. VIA Rail Lines - The city has four tracks for this rail line with one station in Littlefield at Frio Street Northeast at I-35 where passengers may also board Amtrak trains
